Giving Back to the Community
Florandfauna Experience – Compassion, Community & Care
At Florandfauna Experience, our mission goes far beyond tourism. We believe that true impact is measured by the lives we touch, the hope we help strengthen, and the love we share with communities around us. In Arusha, many children grow up without parents or stable family support, and the dedicated caregivers in children’s homes work tirelessly to give them safety, dignity, and opportunity.
As part of our Community Outreach Program, we visit local orphanages to provide emotional support, financial assistance, and moments of joy that remind every child that they matter. These visits allow us to connect, uplift, and encourage children to dream boldly despite the challenges they face.
In our recent outreach efforts, on April 18th 2025, Florandfauna Experience visited two remarkable children's homes in Arusha:
Kindness Children Care Orphanage Centre , Faraja Orphanage Children’s Home

Kindness Children Care
Our visit to Kindness Children Care Orphanage Centre was a heartwarming journey of connection and compassion. The children’s bright smiles, joyful energy, and welcoming hearts made the day unforgettable. Immediately upon arrival, we felt the warmth and unity that fills this home — a place where children receive not just shelter, but love, guidance, and hope.
To support their daily needs, Florandfauna Experience donated TZS 200,000, aimed at covering essential expenses such as:
• Daily meals and proper nourishment
• Clothing, footwear, and essential personal items
• Learning materials and educational assistance
• Medical care and general health services
• Maintenance and improvement of the living facilities

Our outreach journey continued at Faraja Orphanage Children’s Home, where we were welcomed with warmth, openness, and cheerful greetings. Faraja provides a safe and nurturing environment for orphaned and vulnerable children, ensuring that they receive love, understanding, and the support they need to thrive.
To assist with the home’s essential needs, Florandfauna Experience donated TZS 250,000, directed toward key areas such as:

Our Most Remarkable Trip in Tanzania!
We were a group of six from the US on a safari through Ngorongoro and Serengeti with Florandfauna Experience. Eliud was always punctual, drove safely, and impressed us with his deep knowledge of wildlife, plants, and ecology. His tracking skills helped us spot all of the Big Five, including leopard and rhino, in just two days. He patiently allowed us plenty of time for photos and entertained us with engaging stories along the way. We would gladly travel with Eliud again and highly recommend him anyone visiting Tanzania.

I set out to witness the Great Migration, and Eliud guided me to the best spots in the Serengeti. Watching wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River, facing crocodiles and treacherous currents, was breathtaking. Eliud knew exactly where to position us for the most incredible views.
