Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) – Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at JRO, you’ll be met by your Florandfauna Experience guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. After check-in, your guide will brief you on the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and vast elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive spotting lions, giraffes, buffalo, and more.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
Journey into the heart of the legendary Serengeti, crossing the Ngorongoro highlands en route. Afternoon game drive in the vast savannah plains known for the Great Migration (seasonal) and predator action.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive – Serengeti
Spend the day exploring different regions of Serengeti. Look for big cats, elephants, cheetahs, and countless antelope species. Optional hot-air balloon safari available (extra cost).

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Natron
Morning game drive en route out of Serengeti. Descend 600 m into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including rhinos. Later, continue to Lake Natron, a surreal soda lake famous for flamingos and dramatic landscapes.

Day 6: Mt. Oldoinyo Lengai Ascent (Night Hike)
Short rest during the day. At midnight, begin the ascent of Mt. Oldoinyo Lengai (2,878 m) with your mountain guide. Reach the summit at dawn for breathtaking views of the Rift Valley, Lake Natron, and distant volcanoes. Descend and transfer back to camp for rest and relaxation.

Day 7: Lake Natron – Arusha – Departure
