Day One: Arrival
At Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet our staff and transferred to Moshi for Kilimanjaro trekking and Arusha Mt. Meru trekking. You'll receive a detailed and friendly briefing about your trek, giving you an ideal opportunity to pick up any essential gear you may have missed. Additionally, your guide will share valuable other info for the trek ahead
Step 3
The Trek Begins
You will need to complete mandatory registration and clearance at the entry gate, and once you have finalized the activity, you can begin your mountain trekking adventure. Depending on the route chosen, the trekking trail starts amidst lush greenery and stunning vistas, and if you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of some wildlife along the way. Enjoy your trek!

Daily Trekking Schedule
Day 1: Arrival in Moshi – Trekking Briefing
Arrive in Moshi, Tanzania, and settle into your hotel. Meet guides for a trek briefing, gear check, and preparation for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp – Rainforest Trek
Drive to Umbwe Gate (1,600 m / 5,380 ft) and begin trekking through lush rainforest trails. The steep climb leads to Umbwe Camp (2,850 m / 9,350 ft).
Accommodation: Tented camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3: Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp – Scenic Trekking
Continue through steep ridges and shifting landscapes, reaching Barranco Camp (3,960 m / 12,992 ft) at the foot of the famous Barranco Wall.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp – Acclimatization Day
Climb Barranco Wall before trekking to Karanga Camp (4,035 m / 13,238 ft). The short hike aids acclimatization.

Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp – High-Altitude Trek
Ascend to Barafu Camp (4,640 m / 15,223 ft), the final stop before summit night. Rest and prepare for the ultimate climb to Uhuru Peak.

Day 6: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak & Descent to Mweka Camp
Begin the midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m / 19,341 ft)! After celebrating at the summit, descend to Mweka Camp (3,100 m / 10,170 ft).

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate – Return to Moshi
Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate (1,600 m / 5,380 ft), collect summit certificates, and transfer back to Moshi for celebration.
